Consecration of Sacred Heart Catholic School
Father, thank You for the gift of Sacred Heart Catholic School. We praise You for the goodness and blessings that You have bestowed upon our families through our participation in Catholic Education.We come before You on behalf of all the students, parents, faculty, and staff to consecrate our school completely to You, God, our Father, in union with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to extend Your kingdom and Your holy Church throughout the world.
Pour out Your Spirit upon our school so that Your love may grow among the families and faculty, and Your kingdom come, through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
Prayer for Our School
Father, we give You our praise and thanksgiving for creating us and filling us with good things, for giving us Your Son Jesus to show us the way to You, and for providing Sacred Heart Catholic School where our children can grow in knowledge, wisdom, and grace. Thank You for the men and women who lead our school. We pray that, through Your grace, they will be filled with the joy of the Lord and be thankful for the opportunity to serve Your little ones. Give them clarity and wisdom in their teaching so that it be pleasing and life-giving. Fill them with strength and perseverance in human challenges to always do what is right so they may readily exclaim throughout their days, “Speak Lord for Your servant is listening!”
Help us as adults to see one another in light of Your love, to set an example of kindness, compassion, and forgiveness towards the parents, faculty, and children whom we meet. May we be a source of encouragement towards Christ, who is the source and center of our lives, so that we may fulfill the good work that You have started in each of us.
