Sacred Heart School thrives because of the many laborers who respond to God's call of stewardship. Families are essential to involving the community in our school's success.
Sacred Heart has many opportunities for others to share their time, talent, and treasure with the children of Sacred Heart to help ensure a Christ-centered education for generations to come.
Ongoing Fundraising Programs:
- Box Tops for Education - Students bring in designated box tops from General Mills products to help earn money for the school Classes compete each month for top collections.
- SCRIPS - A "substitute money" opportunity to earn revenue from stores you already patronize. Orders for "gift cards" are turned in once a week. The school earns a specific percentage for the general fund and parents also get a rebate from their purchases.
- Store Card Programs - Various stores, including Krogers, Target, Randalls, and Office Depot offer a percentage of funds back to Sacred Heart School.
Annual Fundraisers
- Oktoberfest - Our largest annual fundraiser, Oktoberfest, includes games, food, entertainment, a talent show, craft booth, raffle, silent auction and live auction.
Much planning and work are involved with making Oktoberfest a success. Oktoberfest is held the first Saturday of October each year.
The Oktoberfest funds provide significant financial support to the school.
In the past, the PTO has been able to purchase items such as playground equipment, hardware and software for the library automation, educational software, cafeteria equipment, and sports equipment with the revenue from Oktoberfest.
